College can make your life feel hectic and disorganized with exams, papers to write, group projects, jobs, and internships. Stay on top of your game with these 4 tips!

  1. Use your planner every day and write down EVERYTHING you think you might forget. Make a habit of checking your planner as soon as you get home-you might have an online quiz or assignment due that night! (You can get a free awesome USF planner with your USF ID at the front desk of the Marshall Student Center)
  2. Set reminders on your phone and add events to your calendar, in case you forget your planner.  Your phone is a good backup resource!
  3. Sticky notes. Sticky notes. Sticky notes. Bright neon sticky notes are a good way to catch your eye and remember tasks on there. Be sure to stick them where you won’t miss them, maybe on your bathroom mirror or door.
  4. Prepare for the upcoming day the night before. Lay out your outfit, meal prep for breakfast and lunch, pack your backpack. Doing these things ahead of time will make your mornings quicker and less stressful. You can even reward yourself by sleeping in an extra 5-20 minutes!
